Do u have to have the tranny upgraded when you install a programmer such as the edge juice w/attitude

No you dont. As long as you dont play with levels 4 or 5 to much.

Once you taste some horse power you'll want more and once you start playing with even the edge your tranny is on run out. Start saving up for a tranny up grade because even on level 3 your over working your tranny and it's only a matter of time.
