Mmmmm.... OK, my reference book is pathetic...:(

I putting on my timing set on my '95 65.

TDC number one, then line up the marks on the chain gears and slide them on. But there is not a mark on the top of the gear that drives the pump, it just matches the cam gear mark!

Am I now supposed to just rotate the motor 360 degrees so that the mark now faces up and line up the pump gear marks? Am I missing something?

Thanks

Welcome to the Place, RCULL....

But, no - best to rotate the crank 360deg, which then rotates the cam gear 180deg to line up to the Inj Pump gear.

The engine is a little too big to rotate....................

Well - as that part of my anatomy was present at every educational and learning juncture, I could not, in all conscience, argue that point, MattC............
