The thermostats are under the housing that has the x on it. I have also put an arrow pointing to it. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the hardest I give changing them a 4. Will take a couple of hours. The normal ECT is around 210. If you're in a cooler climate expect around 170, unless you run the winter front on the grille.

There are also some bolts on the valve cover holding the tube coming out of the back of the thermostat housing. I have circled that area.

The basics are to drain the antifreeze down below the housing level. Remove the bolts holding the tube on the valve cover. Remove the housing bolts. You can then "finagle" the housing around enough to get the 2 thermostats out. Pay attention to how they are in there. There are two different ones and they most go back in the same way. Hope this helps!

I was wonderin about that too. My truck takes forever to get up to 176 or so. I was thinkin a stuck thermostat was the problem, but from the sound of it maybe its normal for that temp this time of year. I just bought the truck about a month ago, so have only driven it in the winter so far.
