Took delivery of my new 2007 Silverado Classic 3500 LBZ CC on Tuesday. Sales manager said it sat on the assembly line over X-mas and was finished last week and shipped. Arrived Monday night, and did the paperwork Tuesday. Will replace my 2003 2500HD SRW CC. Placed the order back in November with one of the big dealer in my area who still had one unit left to them.

Have to say with only 100 miles on the clock, that it appears to be a monster!

Looking for a rolling tonneau, and see that Retrax is popular any other recommendations?

It may not have been the last, but it must have been real close!

r68,

Oh yeah, it's a monster for sure! I've been spoiled while I was home on Christmas Break and driving my Dad's around. Now got my '98 blazer back at college and def miss the power, tubo whistle, and oh yeah, the diesel smell. :)

Yeah, stock for stock the LBZ is lightyears ahead of the LB7. LBZ and 6 speed are a great combo IMO :)
