Search of the forum turned up nothing. These were highly recommended by the local Off-Road Shop to help resolve the road vibration on my 2007 Silverado Classic 4WD CCSB LBZ. Anyone ever hear of these. Website is under the first word, Sulastic.

I have the 2" drop shackles and the combination works great. I forgot to mention them in my above post. They are I'm sure part of my sagging issue. I think the Sulastics help the ride when towing and I know they do when empty, but tire pressure does a lot for ride comfort too.

The sag isn't bad as far as the way the truck rides or drives and I haven't had any problems at night with on coming traffic and my higher than normal headlights.

Overall I'm happy I bought them!

I would hate to revive an old thread but, after all the hard work trying to get our 2003 2500HD to stop hopping, I have decided to purchase and install some Sulastics.

We bought the truck with just over 100K. It is an amazing machine, with a +95hp chip in it and we put some tasteful wheels and 265 Wild Country XTX Sport (best tire I have seen) on it. I upgraded the sway bar bushings to polyurethanes and put some KYB Gas-A-Just shocks on it. It rides okay. I also put ceramic brake pads on it and replaced the back rotors and front rotors with the Raybestos S-groove rotors in the front. The truck rides a little rough in the rear. So I decided to add some shackles. Should I mention it is 90% LED? haha Anyways, any tips for installing the shackles would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to updating you all on the ride quality.

Digging this up from the grave..... alot of people asking about Sulastics and I feel this is a very good thread with a ton of open feed back.

How is everyone doing with there Sulastic Shackles? We have been selling tons of these and many other vendors have jumped on board with offering this awesome product so that should show the wealth but open feed back is always great.

Please note Sulastic had a price increase but NCT.com will still offer discounts as always to maintain the best route for your purchase in knowledge about the product and price to your door on the product. Feel free to contact us.

I recently installed a set of the sulastic shackles and I have to say that I am not impressed. For that amount of money I expected a noticeable difference in ride quality but experienced very little improvement if any at all. I am very open to any suggestions as to what I may be able to do to see an improvement in ride quality. I have bilstein shocks already with 33" tires on 17" rims so that should be better than normal to start with. At this point I feel like I wasted $350+ on snake oil. Am I the only one that isn't impressed by these things?

I installed my Sulastics in July 2008, along with my cognito leveling kit, dual 5100's and 1 inch blocks and 5100's in the back. After 4 years and 40 000kms of rough Canadian Roads, and Rig/Forest Roads, the Sulastics separated (in 3 places per shackle). The warranty as I understand it, is for 3 years on the rubber, 5 years on the steel.

That being said, having them on the truck was a dream, since during this period I wasn't hauling much in the bed of the truck (normally have 2-3K lbs of equipment) so they helped a ton. Definitely worth the price, and I will purchase another set if I go back to running empty (running stock shackles with Energy Suspension Bushings right now, with 2-3K in the bed 85% of the time).

I think what killed them, was the -40'c winters. These temps seemed to destroy my 5100's (Shocks and the Bushings), along with the overly rough roads. If you live in a warmer climate, I could see getting allot more life out of them.
