Im geting this problem when Im pulling a hill or under a good pull,my truck eng comes on,and its like I lost the turbo,only revs at 2000 rpm,....have to stop,cycle the key,and away I go.
I brought into the dealer,they told me its the injectors,so they put new ones in,but still the same problem,...the code says ..major fuel loss...,but everything tests out perfect on the diogstics.
Was talking to someother guy,said he had the same problem till e put staight pipes on,....so I think the problem is in the turbo,or wastegate,thus giveing the end lite.
I pinched off the wastgate line to check my theroy,and its has'nt hampen since,

Pinching the waste gate is going to cost you a new turbo.
When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?
Do a search for "engine limp".
Also load a sig so that we know what truck and mods your have. It helps when answering questions.

sounds like a fuel delivery issue...something plugging up the fuel line...and when you cycle the key what ever was sucked up gets dropped again...drop the tank and clean it...maybe?

I had the same problem with mine. They replaced the fuel pressure reg, no good. Then they replaced the injectors,no good. Then they replaced the injector pump, it fixed the problem. It would only act up when pulling 35 foot fifth wheel. Had the same code high loss of fuel.
