I broke my CST Driveshaft. What stocker will replace it. The piece that comes out of my transfer imput is a female with a flange that the CST Driveshaft bolts to.
1-Is it held on with a C-clip inside of the transfer?
2-will only an extended cab driveshaft work (that is what I have)?
3-will all duramaxes have the same driveshaft?

The truck had the lift when I bought it, that is why I don't know how they changed the CST driveshaft to begin with.

with a 6inch lift you should still have the stock driveline in it no reason to change it for that size of a lift

then all you need to find is a stock one and put it back in

The cst driveshaft has a female fitting that comes out of the transfer. How do I take that out?

Sweet! I was hoping that was the case. I will get a new driveshaft soon then.

why dont you just change out that bad u-joint

It is not the U-joint, I wish it was. Here, take a closer look.

how long can you go without your truck because it has been a while already what is the hold up are you haveing a hard time finding one or what

my truck still has the rear drviveshaft.
Leadfoot, I called Jesse when I first broke my driveshaft. I believe he told me that there was not enough clearance to install a larger application because it would touch the transmission. I will give him another call and verify.

That sucks.

I know what you mean though. I ran a custom 700r4/NP205 with the AA short shaft and could not run a larger CV in the front due to pan clearance.

Oh well, it was worth a try.
