I am looking for a stock air box for a 2003 (or any that fit) Silverado Dmax.


Anyone have one laying around after going to the AFE or K&N system?

That atv nation link is great!!! I will probably have a stock air box sometime soon. I just cant decide on which system to go with.


How do you like the sound of the straight pipe?

The straight pipe was s surprise. I was expecting the really LOUD rumble like you get from a small block gas motor. It is not there at ALL. What I do hear is a little more of a throaty rumble from it. I cannot tell a difference in the cab with the windows up. At the Dynoday today it did sound a little louder than the rest but to me it was nothing like what I had expected. I really like the straight pipe. If I decide to get the Kennedy 4" I will get it straight with no muffler.


BMDMAX has the 4"Banks and it sounded REALLY nice on the dyno. But at idle it is still quiet. I think he is just trying to pull a sleeper on us.

That guy put down over 500 HP today!! It was SUWEET!
