Someone suggested this method to bleed air out of injectors,is this safe?..I don't want to blow a head off.Do you still glow the plugs?..how much do you spray in?..Would I still need to crack a few injectors?..it's my understanding that they can't pass air.
WD 40 acts almost like diesel fuel in a can, it still requires glow plugs to light it off and it won't hurt your head gaskets, it is very mild. You don't need to crack the lines on a 6.2 to purge the air, I have tried it both ways many times, I always leave the lines tight and the engines start just fine. Use fairly large shots of wd right into the intake, but try to mist it to avoid puddling. Best way is to have a helper spray it into the intake while you crank the engine over.
