My 1995 GMC 1ton 6.5 will run all day 60 mph but if I try to run 65 it won't run one mile and it's like I turned my key off. I can pull over and turn key
off and and it will start up and run great below 60 mph. also no smoke at all going down the road but when I let it idle in about 1-2- minutes it starts puffing out raw blue diesel smoke. then when I take off it will smoke about a city block or two, smoke then clears up perfect [ under 60 ] already
installed a remote pmd

Welcome to the site, if you would take a minute to update your signature line see info in mine.

Something is causing it to go into limp mode which is good for about 60 mph, and is so far off of schedule the PCM to defuel completely when getting to 65, have do you have any codes stored in the PCM, do the paperclip trick as outlined in sticky FAQ area, I had similar problem with my burb where ABS fault caused it. But I got ABS codes at the same time it occurrred, trans hot mode may be kicking in.

I/we could guess at many things it might be, go through diagnostic tree in my & other mods signatures to give us anything there we can work with, also see if you can pull any codes, most part stores will pull codes for free, or as stted earlier yours is OBD-I and paper clip jumper can be used to pull codes and count blinking of check engine light

I took the pmd off today and loosened the bollts on the back and retightened an d the smoke stopped but when I checked the coolant it looked like it had diesel fuel mixed in it. Is that possible? the codes was 35 and 36 on my 2500 snap on scanner It also has had heads replaced,
rebuilt injector pump, new remote pmd. It has stopped smoking at idle.
Not sure about the shutting off at 65 but now I'm concerned about the fuel in coolant. -----HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would indicate a cracked head or blown head gasket, as would the vapors at idle - bad sign even if it's engine oil in the coolant.

Check the oil on the dipstick for evidence of coolant
