Spare tire on lifted trucks! Will it fit???

I'm getting ready to purchase an 07' 2500 duramax and I want to put a 6" lift on the truck. My concern is whether or not an 18" rim with 325s or 33s will fit in the spare tire compartment. I travel a lot so I don't want a bicycle size spare. For those that are wondering, driving any length of distance on a small spare with three other large tires can do damage to the rear differential. I've been down this road already with my current f350. I had a flat with 325's and the spare was way too small!

a 33" will fit such as a 285/75/16. ive seen a 315/75/16 ( 34.5") under there but it required modification to the exhaust and other items.

a 325 i doubt it if i had to guess. any larger than a 34.5" will not fit without mods.

A 315/75/16 will fit under most trucks, I would recomend going that route, just pick up a cheap steel wheel and a cheap tire, and running that underneath, it is only a spare.

If you get a flat on the rear with over-sized tires you have to use the spare on the front and take the front tire and move it to the rear. You should not drive any distance with mismatched tires on the rear (at least that is the way I understand it).
