Drove truck to work this am after driving through a couple of snow banks to take my wife to work this weekend. Truck rode llike driving on square wheels. Snow and ice jammed up between dual wheels. Keep an eye on them in winter!

Lower the air pressure in the tires some if you are not driving fully loaded.
I have run all my duallies at about 55psi from new. tires flex some, and helps release the snow. I have never had a wear pattern problem, and the ride is great.
This works for me all year, even when loaded with my 5th wheel trailer.
Now as for ice chunks or a salt chunk left from a plow truck, Watch Out! If you feel a bad vibration, STOP and remove it or it may fly thru the fender.
I hope this helps,
Rich.
