Is there a cable available that lets you directly connect the sirius reciever to the factory head unit? There is a stereo mini plug on the side of the reciever, something that connects to it then to the head unit. I want to use the band button on the head unit to operate the sirius reciever, does that make sense ? I find that i get to much interference using the fm signal. Thanks ric.:) :)

Well, I guess I can see what you want to do. Probably the same thing I did with my Sportster. Head on over here: http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=306 and get yourself an auxilary input with the RCA plugs. Then you can buy a cable from most audio shops(maybe JP has them too but I haven't looked) that will plug into the "audio out" jack on your Sirius and hook right into the RCA plugs of the auxialary. It fools your head unit into thinking it is a DVD player and then you just use the band or source button to access it.
