1. level ok
beautiful red fluid
2.speedo fine
3.shifts hard only at 3300
4.still shifts into all gears
5. no ses light, codes85 and 86 retrieved
7.93
8.I can only shift up if it reaches 3300, if I let off the throttle before the shift it will roll freely without engine braking if I stomp on it again it will accelerate hard to the shift. so I cant cruise efficiently (which would have been fine when I was 16)

I was told by a GM mech to replace my input output sensors, but today when I measured the voltage at the blue wire coming from my TPS It was reading over 4.5 volts at IDLE. and 4.8 or so at full throttle. but I read that volts at IDLE should be between .5 and 1.

That tells me that my TPS has improper resistance at idle.
telling the truck that I'm at full throttle all the time.

So what is it
-TPS with malfunctioning idle range
-input output sensor on the tranny

Thanks in advance for any assistance

TPS on the 92-93 6.5's were a common failure point. Sounds like you've already found your problem, idle voltage should be approximately .8 volts.

OK I got it to shift right by changing the adjustment on the tps I found a spot where it registers idle voltage. BUT now I got no overdrive.
