I was wondering if any one out there has any experience with the bully dog shift kit, or the transgo. I have a 02 gmc 2500 that i tow a 14k fifth wheel with i've got a little over 30k miles on the truck, and i have the juice.that i keep on level 1 when towing.I am curious if they would help with keeping the trans healthy. thanks....

Bully dog is a waste of money, Transgo is the one that everyone uses but it requires tearing into the tranny with a whole trans removal. If you keep the juice under level 3 there is no need for the transgo.

Transgo is the way to go, but since the tranny is out..... well you know the rest.

I would tow in level 1 or maybe 2 depending how you drive.

Also if you do a transgo kit your torque converter becomes the next weak link.

Although being in florida suncaost aint far away....they could probably do a kit for you if you wanted to tow at higher power.
