Once the %$#@#$ loan company gets their act together, and/if I find a new one, I’ll be purchasing a ’03 2500HD CC SB D/A. I plan on having a shell (A.R.E.) installed on the bed. Any comments about wind noise or other problems would be appreciated. I also will be installing a pass thru. My first choice is a complete window removal with an accordion boot. Or one like this, Breezer . I like the breezer concept, take the window out when you want access to the back or leave it in when you don’t. A slider with a compression boot will also work, but I want a bigger opening from the cab to the bed. Any good or bad experiences would be appreciated.

There is nothing “sport” about a ’89 R2500 Sub w/454. Unless your dragging a 30 year old, 24’ TT up a 9% grade and passing “SUV’s”.
It’s going to be hard to part with that truck!!!

Have you ever had a setup like that?? I haven't but work with someone who did and it was a nightmare. The thing leaks.

I personally have never needed or have seen the need to have a pass through from the cab to the cap. I added an opening window to my first S10 and paid extra to get a slding window on the cap. I never once in 10 years opened either.

Just my opinion, I wouldn't bother.
