This is my first time on this site, I have a 01 Duramax, Im running a Edge/Attitude,AFE stage 2. When stoping at stop light the truck runs ruff and puffs blue smoke, but while driving seems fine. changed fuel filter and gas station, didnt make any differencs. It does not do it all the time.
Does any body Know anything about this?

I don't know that much about the internals on diesels, but if a gasser is blowing blue smoke, it's burining oil, like valves or rings. I've always heard of injector issues blowing white smoke.

IE, In Example, lope. As in a high duration camshaft. Sounds like your getting excess fuel, check injector rates. Or possibly oil blowby

Hey guys I checked my oil and no sighns of fuel smell in crank case, does that really show a sign of
bad injectors? I was going to go snowmobiling
pulling about 5000 pound trailer, maybe not a good idea for this weekend, what do you think?
