today

I've cleaned all grounds, make some extra grounds,
how much wires do the have on the right end of the engine?
ive got 1 ground strip,
and 4 wires (3 clamps)

I started my chevy after clean the grounds and codes,
it seems first ok, but after some seconds, its begin roughter and roughter,
like there is some air in it....

tomorrow checking again on air, and fuel lift pump pressure....


it can't be there is no resistor? because he runs fine without a week before?
I've order 1 (and a starter and a oil pressure switch ;D) but that wil be here on fryday

also it takes a time before the trucks start (he always did, but the starter wasn't good at all) glow plug have I tested, ok

maybe a hint :D

but wenn it start it runs not like there's air in it,

now it's late, I gonna wash my, and drink a beer :D

No Buts about it. PUT THE RESISTOR IN......Some posts in the forums regarding PMD replacement have reported electrical/fuel gremlins and found out the resistor was missing.

It is there for a reason:HiHi:

friday, I hope i get my resistor...

again checked for air, in the fuel,
but it isn't..

Here we are again :confuzeld

so i think i have all done, what ever I can do:
air in fuel -> check
grounds-> check
new PDM-> check
resistor in to PDM -> hopefully friday
check data and codes -> check
new fuel filter -> check

still te same...
checked codes with obd, here he is again -> P0251 - Injection Pump cam sensor

when I pull off the connector of the injection pump, engine shut off, and doesn't run,

when i Pull off the CRANCKSHAFT position sensor connector, the engine keeps running but roughter (knocking)

so both works :idea:


I hope, it is the resistor,
what else can I do ?

edit; crankshaft sensor 990 ohm -> ok

crankshaft sensor 990 ohm -> ok
With the optic sensor on the ip disconnected the engine should start & run in limp mode on the crank position sensor ,I do believe . If it doesn't, that would be an indication of a problem with the cps.

If it can start, there is a chance that the IP may still be good.

Rough idle can mean anything.
Black smoke can mean turbo is bad.

so what's happend now?

I did play with my MT2500 snap-on,
and a relearn the pcm, so the pcm put everything to basic, and start who new..

but there wasn't a resistor in the PDM, so the pcm goes into limp mode,

today fed-ex came :bow: bring me a resistor, (and a starter, and a oil pressure switch and a magnet) i put it in, (ofcoure #9)
do again a relearn! and it runs GREAT :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:



SO thanks you all for the respons, and save me for selling a brand new IP:thumb:
