picked up a 2020 swd 3500 loaded Denali last month and had some good seat time in it last two weeks, towing a 25k rv threw mountains/flat land.. had a 2019 superduty plantuim prior but got offered a strong broker price for the 2 year old and let it go south of line.._($83k)

was lucky to get the Duramax as it was on assembly line only a few days before and was there last truck dealer had coming to them, dealer lots are very empty due to pandemic they said, ford was sold out till new year

what I seen so far towing same voltage rv with Duramax as we did then with plantuim is the 10 speed tranny is a real bonus and shifts very well and smooth where the superduty 6 speed was shifting late on cruise hard pulling where it would drop almost 5mph before it would shift down(73mph)

very good tq this ten speed offers the truck and compliments the Duramax well, mileage is 2 mpg better so far and truck not broken in yet, its also very quiet and wind noise is better, the jake on Duramax is stronger...superduty had more top end sway and on bad cross winds, the extra few inches clearance the superduty has also made handling harder. extra height also hindered putting objects in box of truck we seen

found ride rougher when empty on ford by a little(both trucks had airbags self leveling kits), and tires deflated to 350kpa from the 550 kpa they came with(makes a huge difference on your back over long distances or washboard rds)

what I have found to be better on the ford so far is its technology... auto wipers, keyless entry, auto breaking while towing cc, stereo and a much much softer leather more comfortable seat for long rides with the massager is a real bonus for ford, maybe the 2021 will be better for Denali in these departments, heard some are looking at swapping seats

will be doing some long hauls with the Duramax this winter and looks promising ride so far, see gale banks took this motor over 1000hp with stock internals and never blew it up.. impressive
