Hello everyone............

For those that came, THANKS..........

Sdaver and SteveO traveled farthest picking up Big Dipper on the way !!!! 17 or so Hours was the ride.

Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Alabama, Maryland..........did I miss a STATE ?????

Thanks Sdaver...........the Dyno Killer
, as Socal posted in another thread some static electricity jumped from Dave's truck on the 4th or 5th run blowing some fuses and ruining a electronic board for the dyno brake. After trying to fix it for 2 1/2 hours we unfortunately had to pick up and goto another dyno..........

It worked out great with a Big Thanks from Shannon at Jannetty"s of Waterbury for saving the DAY
.

Anyway we had a lot of single box/tuner runs and stacks........all trucks were very consistant on numbers put down and back to back runs solidly verified the HP/TQ figures !!!!

All info will be posted in the AM by hoot, it will be very informative for anyone who is interested in learning about the true power gains.

The real world street gains with a Suncoast Tranny cannot be believed over Stock Allison's..........thanks SDaver for letting me pilot the "Alabama SLAMMMER !!!!. pulls like a B**TCH
.

Thanks to everyone again, alot of info was learned and it was great as Dave said to put Face to all of these names..........

Signing off.

I knew I should have gotten a cell number before I left!! After leaving for a short family party I come back arund 3:00 and the gate was closed at Unlimited MS
. Where did you go to another dyno?

It was great to see so many folks show up and some very impressive trucks. Sdaver making the trip in from Alabama with a stop in Tennessee, I'm impressed. Being around you all makes it hard to run a stock truck!

What is it with Law enforcement. Can't a few guys with trucks get together with out them showing up? I think it is jealousy myself.

Had a great time, always good to put faces and names together. Looking forward to the next (an all day event for sure). Hope everyone had a safe trip home.

Another good turnout. Got to meet some more members including the Southern boys. Kind of like the movie Convoy with all those Duramax's going down the road. I guess that would have made Mackin "Rubber Duck".

Wow what a day!! Was very cool to meet up with you guys, again. Some big numbers being laid down by the 'Bama posse, and Big Daddy Mac!!

Started off with a breakfast stop for the majority of the CT posse with a short convoy to Unlimited, where we met up with Sdaver, SteveO, And Big Dipper, being the kind hosts that we are, we let the visitors roll first BIG MISTAKE!! j/k Was good to shoot the chit with everyone as Eric tried to fix the Dynojet. It was too bad it got zapped, as they had some jamming food on the grill for us.

A big thanks to Shannon at Jannetty's for bailing us out, and getting us over to J&M. Nothing like a 15-20 truck convoy from S. Windsor to Manchester......just follow the black cloud. Think that Shannon threw the 'Bama posse for a loop with her piercings, but thats a whole different topic

Wish I could have stayed to see Jesse and his handshaker spin, but I had to get out while I still had my tailgate intact, damn guys had my truck parted out like a two dollar [email protected]!!!

Until next time...see ya!!

Don't worry as far as my truck goes you didn't miss much. Truck just wasn't performing. It even sounded kind of flat and was slow to rev up compared to last time. I could only muster 420s for hp in both 5th and 6th gear. Torque in 6th would get into the 920s but only into the 790s in 5th. The difference in torque due to the ability to build more boost in 6th because of the taller gear putting a bigger load on the engine. Saw the same thing with different trucks running the same combos where the truck with bigger tires would always put down better numbers because of the taller tire giving a taller gear affect. Just the nature of the Dynojet. That's why it would be nice to try a dyno with the ability to load the engine. Hopefully I'll get to see and hear that beautiful 8.1 run once it's S/C'd. I heard it sounded pretty mean at the last dyno day.

Well,

As Tony and other's posted above, what a day. It was awesome to meet so many new member's!! I would list all the guy's I met, but I would likely miss somebody.

I got there early and made a few run's on my truck. We wanted to make sure my Tech 2 and everything else was working flawlessly. Everything worked, I made 414HP and 860 + on the torque. Sdaver, SteveO, and the Big Dipper arrived as I was finishing up. I had just installed a Suncoast converter in my truck. I asked Dave about his Suncoast unit. He asked if I wanted to drive it!!! H*LL YA. His truck was strong! Now, that is Southern hospitality! THANKS DAVE!

I showed some Northern hospitality and strapped down his truck first. Sdaver was throwing down some good number's, 500 +. Things went into uncharted territory after that. Our Host, Eric, got zapped. It was so loud, Sdaver heard it. After a heroic effort to fix the Dyno, we could not measure a run.

I really look forward to these events. I think it's great that Terry was the first to organize an Event in Connecticut. This forum allows us to meet member's from all over the US, thanks Nick! Mac, Tony, Jesse and all the other CT member's have all helped this CT community grow. I encourage more member's to particapate in events around the country. The comraderie is second to none. It's a great way to see the latest gadgets and power maker's. It was an opppurtunity for other's to experience what Suncoast offer's.

Thanks to everyone who came. I hope we do not have to wait till spring for the next get together!

Did anybody dyno just the "comp juice" vs. attitude 145????? I've got the same thing with my quad, no revs upped. He's working on it, as its just an 01 thang. Nice numbers guys, looks like a tranny that can hold its own, puts down more hps than a stocker, with same set-up. I'm off to the dyno tomorrow, my dealer wants to see what the Superchip has to offer and of coarse i'll be seeing what i can lay down, besides a thick black fog.
Sounds like everybody had a good time, and will try to make the next event. Later Jeremy
