I've had my '03 duramax (chevy 4x4, LT, black crew cab, short-bed, blah, blah) for 1 year. I'm ready for some upgrades. I have decided to purchase the Edge Juice w/Attitude. Question: How essential is spending more on Intake and Exhaust? For the first $800 (the edge) I get huge gains. What kind of gains will realize for the other $800 to be spent on intake and exhaust. I'm fairly confident I understand the logistics of airflow, exhaust temps, and engine spool, but I'd sure appreciate some sound advise.

Thanks,

Time to do the Transgo shift kit and aftermarket converter. I am starting to see some Allisons that waited a little too long because their owners figured they would do this later. WRONG! Doing the performance thing first and playing puts tremendous heat in the torque converter and you will pay the price for this. I am giving you good info, take it or leave it.
