mike; what GPS do you have? I just picked up the earthmate gps yesterday. it seems to worl pretty good for a hundred bucks. I will be trying it with Rand Mcnally street finder, I do not care for DeLorme.
I would say drive a few hundred miles on each setting if you can. And don't baby it all the time, or it will not help working up the ladder of power.
