What's the best way to remove the double-sided adhesive that is used for holding vent shades on without scratching the paint on the doors? Thanks!

I would say fishing line between the ventshade and the tape is going to be your best bet..

Johnswiftm, is the eraser wheel an attachment you can get for a cordless drill? Where do you recommend finding them?

I like the fishing line method and a hair dryer to help it along.

The fishing line will help remove the shades.....but the eraser wheel is definately the best way to remove the tape. Any body repair supplier will carry these....and they will work in your drill

The 3M eraser wheel works awesome! I just did what you're about to do.

Try buying it at Carquest or NAPA You can use it on a drill
