I want to replace my stock front pipe with the MBRP unit. Once I do this, I'm going to give the Fingers Stick a shot on my LBZ to see if it works. Is there a reason why I have to block the EGR off? Is there something about removing the cat or using the Fingers Stick that REQUIRES the EGR blocker plate to be installed?

Thanks!

no you can do the singerstick and cat delete and no blocker plate but i would get one just to block it anyways

the cat delete pipe and finger stick sort of go hand in hand... the reason most block the EGR is to prevent the exhaust soot from dirtying the oil quicker since it recirculates it back into the engine. Its a worth while thing and only takes 2 minutes to install.

OK, so I will do the EGR block plate, but it does not have to be done at the same time. Thanks!

I have a LLY and did the cat delete and left the EGR for a while. JK suggested to just unplug it so that's what I did. So far so good.
