Just putting this out there as background information.

My LBZ was going into reduced engine power mode without throwing codes. I used the FAQ section and did what was suggested, new fuel filter, check air filter etc. Clear the REP warning and it would come back on within about 1-2 km.

I pulled the MAF sensor and found the remnants of a bug across the single outer wire and case. Put the sensor back in after blowing with shop air. Cleared the fault and it was fine for about 1000km than the wife says you haven't had that fault again and as if the devil was on my shoulder back into limp mode we went.

This time all I did was clean the actual terminal plugs as they looked a little oiled and told my wife not too mention the fault again.

Two benefits, the drive is a lot quieter and the fault hasn't reappeared since.:coolnana:

You had engine power reduced with the P0101. Just need a better reader.

I use an ELM327 interface, what would you recommend ?
