.Hi everyone I need to replace my rear wheel bearings on my wrecker. Witch is a 94 gmc c3500hd 6.5 diesel. When I went to the dealership to buy the parts that I needed I was informed that I need need a special tool to remove the outer bearing. I was going to have the dealer do it. But there 2 weeks out. And the need this truck asap. Anywho i pulled it all apart. And looks like he's right. But does anyone know what the tool is called.. I don't know if it makes a difference. I do have 11.5 ring gear.. You have to press or drive out the race and cone for the inner wheel bearing, remove the snap ring and then press out the outer wheel bearing ( cup & cone assembly ).
