Hey guys,
I own an 04' duramax and im going to put electronic cutouts on my truck and have been lookin at RRP's electronic cutouts. Does anybody have any experience with these? They look like a quality product, lifetime warranty and all. Thanks for any feedback.

I can’t tell if there is any warranty and you have to “fabricate” your own Y-pipe. RRP has a lifetime warranty and they carry the 4” Y-pipes as well so I’m kind of leaning in that direction any other suggestions?
thanks for any feeback,
marcus

Uh... Can you tell me what the purpose of cutouts are?

Our trucks are not very loud with no muffler. I've run them on gas cars.

Agreed.....our trucks arnt very loud withno muff and a muff dosnt add much restriction.....also dumping exhaust under the cab with a strong fueling program sucks as it coats your whole truck with soot and smoke seeps up from everywere.

Also our trucks dont have 4" facotry piping.....

I can see using cut outs on a gasser....but on a diesel I wouldnt personaly.....

and the reason for installing cutouts is it will open your system up for better flow and to do that, it’s cheaper to spend $250-$300 for cutout and y-pipe than spend $1000 for whole new exhaust system.
