I am quite new to computers and am trying to learn so i apologize in advance if my question is silly. I have an old desktop in the shop that i was thinking of using for just efi. It has no internet hookup. Can i make a copy off my home pc and load it into the shop pc or do i need to install the software again?

Yes, You don't even need internet to use EFILive, as you will recieve a CD with all the software on it. (But it makes sharing and downloading tunes a lot easier.) You can use the internet at work, a friends house, or at home. All you need is a USB port, and a Pen-drive big enough to put all the files/tunes on, then you can move this over to your shop computer.

The sofeware needs to be installed on any computer you will be logging or tuning with. But you do not need to install the EFILive software on a computer to download tunes and software. (You just won't be able to view the tunes and logs without the software installed.)

thanks for the help. I got it setup and have my stock tune saved, but i am having trouble figuring out how to get my stock tune onto cd. any help would be appreciated.
