I was reading on the kennedy diesel web site that it was possible to use the predator to modify the ECM’s diagnostic routine and make it so that you dont get an egr code when you have a aftermarket exhaust. Has anyone ever done this and can it be done on a LBZ?

I spoke with John K about this. If you are trying to get around the finger stick and egr blocker, the Predator for the LBZ will not work. From my understanding it would work for earlier engines. I also heard that Predator might be working on an update for the disabling of the egr system on the LBZ.

Thats what I was wondering if I use it to do away with the finger stick on the my truck. Is there any programmers that you can do this with?

No finger

From my understanding, only EFI live or a custom tune can turn off the EGR system on a LBZ.
