Yesterday i went to pass someone on the highway and my truck did the won't go over 2000rpm thing that i see on here. I'm guessing a dirty fuel filter. I went to plug in my predator this morning and it won't come on, i think it might be the port that i plug it into is not working, not the predators fault. I think its a fuse because my cig. lighter fuse didn't work either and i checked the fuse and it was blown. Put a new fuse in and tried the cig. lighter again, didn't work, so i checked the fuse and it's blown again. So can anyone tell me what the deal is and where the fuse is for the plug in for my predator.

The OBD port fuse is probably in the box under the hood on the driver's side. That or behind the panel in the side of the dash by the driver's side door.

You might have a piece if crud on or in the cigarette lighter that is causing it to ground out.

So the cigarette lighter and OBD port are the same fuse? Well i guess that would explain why they both aren't working then. That fuse is a 15 right?

put a new cig fuse in and check to see if the fuse blows again right away. if it doesn't then plug in the predator and see if fuse is blown then. if fuse blows right away something on the cig circuit is shorted to ground. if it blows after the pred is plugged in then the problem could be in the pred.

also check for something down in the cig lighter socket. I've seen wire or pennies or dimes down in the socket. fixed one for our dealer principal where a piece of twist tie had fallen in the lighter socket
