Haven't tried it, but I can tell you how the 99-02 mounts. The back end has a tab that slides into a slot cut into the head liner. Above the slot is a metal lip it slides on top of. The front is then retained by one screw. You can see it’s location in the picture the other thread. I’m 99% sure the front screw location is in the identical place. lace> (WWW.LWM.CC) was a big distributor of take offs and pull outs nation-wide from new conversions. They sell quite a few items on ebay. The supply market is starting to dry up, especially with home-link units. I stumbled onto a home-link console that was pulled from a new Astro Van or Bravada with the DIC. It is longer than the truck console. I swapped the home-link unit for my door opener compartment. I sold the extra console on ebay.
The home link is a simple 3 wire hook-up. I took quite a few pictures of the consoles to put together a how-to web page one of these days. I can get a fairly close measurement from the screw to the lip. You might be able to see if the bracket is there by removing the dome light. I too am interested in knowing if it will fit an 03.
