Got a 2001 GMC durmax a month ago. It came with a PPe hot+2 et, upgraded air intake, 5" exhaust and upgraded tranny (good for 620hp) was wondering what setting would be good for daily driving?

Tested the 10 setting, power was crazy but would get black smoke if I gave it to much throttle and was scared I'd blow something. Currently on setting 5.

I would run at like the 3rd setting it will give you enough power for most things but not be too hard on your truck. and you can always turn it up when you want to have fun

Ah, the old Hot+2. Fond memories of those days. That'll net you around 500rwhp on the 10 setting with your intake/exhaust + a lift pump.

Keep it on 3 or 4.
