I would have to say that the PPE GT40R kit has really worked out. I have been testing it in different conditions for months. This is definetly not a girlie charger, and is definetly comperable to the aurora 2000 and 3000 and one step ahead of the BD kit. Max boost with the dual fueler kit on it was 45 psi.
On a 5% grade, I was going 80 MPH, towing a 13k pound trailer and was at about 1150 egt max. The turbo definetly smokes a lot. Pat was not the first person to get the GT40R, I was the first customer, way back in august. I am waiting on the prototype intake tubes, and some dyno numbers, and 1/4 mile times without the lift kit to complete the testing. It is a good towing charger, especiall ypaired with the dual fueler. The housing is smaller than the one casper ran, for towing. 1/4 mile results with the lift kit and a 30 MPH headwind, and no duramaximizer are [email protected].

I will post dyno results after this saturday, and that will be an inital dyno.
The nickname is the tow and go charger.

im going to have to disagree. my BD went 12.9 @ 108 mph on fuel only with a single STOCK CP3 and stock everything else on the engine. this was also with my own custom tuning. crew cab, 7250 pounds

well, overall, I say the GT40 is a good turbo, comperable to the BD, HTT and Aurora 2000 and 3000.

Ben, He is running 35's on the truck. I do not know if that will knock it down to 13.99, but I know he had a soft start that day.

my 60 foot on that run was 1.89x

Im cant imagine 2-3" of extra tire diameter would increase ET by 1 whole second. Especially considering he has dual fuelers!!!!

And A lift kit! my 60' was 1.97, and it was a bad day, because of a 30 MPH headwind.

Without the proper tuning, dual cp3s will gain little to no additional power.

I'm talking to the guys at PPE, to see if they can tweak the tuner, and give it 2CP3 tuning.

It sure did! It made a huge difference, now I know what dual CP3s are capable of

I thought thats what OneTallGMC said he thought your 1/4 mile time would be based on MPH? Or did you actually run 13.2? Pics of the time slip? Im just curious of the 1/8 mile speeds and times as well as 60 foot times.
