started out with a stickey rotor the other day.pulled over to check it
seemed ok
as i pulled onto the highway i lead footed it
and the rmps shot up it shifted fine for the first 3 gears
then the engine backed off stayed at around 2300 rpms
and it wouldn't shift up till i lifted the pedal then floored it to make it shift
seemed like tranny ..
never had this problem before usually shifts smooth with the pedal floored
any suggestions?

My 02 LB7 has been doing the same thing for a while now. It also threw a 1093 code for lack of fuel rail pressure upon fuel enrichment. I have heard the same thing about the fuel filter from a lot of people but i changed mine about 4k miles ago so I dont know what to tell you.

mine is kind of having the same problem except when i floor it or anything above 3/4 throttle in either 3rd or 4th gear it will rev to around 2800-3000rpm and sit on that rpm and speed will not increase for around 4-6 seconds then will basically launch into the next gear ..can anyone explain this?

We had this same problem up here in northern wi last weekend. I think what it is, atleast around here, is all of our stations are "flushing there tanks" with this new lsd fuel and it has an additive in it and it is cleaning years and years go grime off the tank walls and we get the end result putting it in our trucks.
This truck only had 1000 miles on new fuel filter. It was doing exactly what you guys are talking about.
If you fill up at a station that isn't planning on putting in a new tank for ulsd, than have a few filters behind the seat because I have a feeling we are going to be doing this a while until the tank is cleansed.
Just my $.02
