I've got the pics of the intake and EGR already. Just waiting on Chris to resize them and send them back. The cat turned out good. My dad and I took a piece of angle iron and made a point on one end. Then, with a 6 or 8 pound hammer started going at it. Took an hour or so to get it all out. I'll take some soon and post pictures.

that is what i used to do to my gasers and it made a big diff in performance

I was thinking of cutting it in half and gutting it and tig welding it back together. that way i can slide my 4 inch from the downpipe thru it and it can meet up to the 5 inch and look like a cat back or make it look like an aftermarket cat

When I get it off I'll take some pictures. I didn't get all fancy and cut in half. We just busted all the stuff out. You used to be a service advisor so I can assume your not too worried about warranty issues. Thats why I gutted it.

GM policy is that if you own a truck and your truck is still under factory warranty they are to give you a truck to drive. not going to get a DMAX but you will have a truck. Also if your truck is still under factory warranty you are not supposed to get a non-GM car to drive as a loaner. They have a contract with Enterprise and it also states in their policies and procedures manual on CD.

You are right about enterprise rentals, but I had to go to the dealer driving the escort and asked why I had paid for a Chevy and had to drive a ford while they were repairing said Chevy...I got a Lumina about 15 minutes later.
