Check with your local trade schools or the adult "contining education" programs at local high schools. Many of them teach classes that are cheap. You will learn much more hands on than you could ever learn on the web.

The painting is the easy part, but are you a good artist? I can paint but dont ask me to draw or design something. I hated art back in high school but i worked in a bodyshop and learned to spray on collisions.

Thanks for the replies.

See my avitar? That's what I'm painting. It's currently camo and I'm going with just OD Green. I'm also painting the frame.

No real artistry here, just get it on with the least amount of runs & drips I can and hope it doesn't peel off in 6 months:D

Won't have to mask much as it's all in parts and stripped to the body.

I decided to take the jump from rattle can.

I'm a self tought painter just picked it up from videos and books.Do some studying and take your time. All the paint manufacturers have tec sheets about thair products on thair web sites that will tell you air pressure, tip size, flash time, and all the other good stuff.Painting is easy, the prep work is the time consuming hard work. Good luck! It can be done. Check out my garage every thing in there I have painted execept the new truck and that will be done too first chance I get, factory paint is laim
