I plan on getting a set of guages in the near future. I am goin to the autometer phantom II guages. I was looking at the overhead mount. The price didn't scare me. If it looks as good as it does in the pictures intalled. That is one sweet setup. My question is how much of a pain in the butt is it run all the wiring for the guages through the head liner? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Simple to do! Pull off the plastic molding on the A pillar and then you can fish the wires through the headliner over to the gauge location... Took me about an hour to install these in my truck...

You did a heck of a job. Looks pretty sweet up there. What size guages did you use? Were the wires on the guages long enough to reach up there?

Have you checked out the Auto Meter mount that goes above the windshield rearview mirror, slightly easier to install and for old folks like me as it puts the gauges a little further away and makes them easier to read. See our site for pics of them if you want.
