Mike,
Sorry I don't know anything about the pyro on the attitude. The latest I heard was you will still need to drill and tap the manifold to install the probe for EGT. You won't have to do anything for boost, I guess it is read electronically. I don't know if that is still accurate, so take that with a grain of salt. Edge products seem to be first rate material, so I would expect nothing less from them in any of their products. I am just a bit bummed that they keep pushing the release date further and further out. Oh well, the way they talk about it, and all the features it should be worth the wait for those interested in it.
I think I paid less than a dollar at Home Depot for my sheet of plexiglass. It was hidden in the back corner near the fiberglass insulation in this little wooden rack. I also used a 2" hole saw to cut the hole for the gauge. I then lined up the hole with the bracket I mounted inside the cubby and drew an outline of the cubby. Then I cut it, sanded it and painted it. By the way, I went to Wally World and purchased the cheapest oil pressure gauge I could find so I could get that gauge bracket. I couldn't find anyone that sold the gauge bracket seperately.
I have not gone in for any service or warranty work <<knock on wood>> since my one and only free oil change at 3k miles. I did talk with the service manager at that time and they had no problems with 4" exhaust and gauges but warned me about chips or boxes. I do not plan to see the dealer for any work, unless it is something that is too expensive to fix myself. But if I do, OJ gets left in the garage!! I am working on 11,000 trouble free miles and hope for many more!!
My concern with the attitude is whether it is able to be taken out of the truck easily. I think it would be very obvious if you had an Edge Monitor in the truck that there has been some type of power box added to the truck.
