Seems to be working just fine. A couple more quick pics for future reference for someone. I ended up routing the wires behind the headlight and running power from the red box and ground to the power steering pump. I still have to modify the red box so I can shut it again. There is already a heavy gauge wire run to it from an amp so it no longer shuts and it is zip tied for now. Ill probably just carefully drill the hole a little larger sometime so it shuts properly again.
