how much oil does an 02 LB7 take on an oil change? I lost my diesel supplement manual. oops

The LBZ takes 10 qts...including filter. Might get an extra 1/2 qt in if the truck is on an angle (nose up) when draining the oil.

My mistake,I thought it was 10 qts myself , I was looking at a diesel site and for some reason they said 12 qts.

I never measure(take it outa a drum) but its over 10. I'd buy 12.....I think with the filter I put close to 11 in it.

After you have run the truck, let it settle over night. If you check it and need to add some more, go for it.

Did I mention it takes 10 QUARTS????????
