Hey D Maxers, I am looking for some insight. My truck is a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 CC DMAX with 102,500 miles on it. When I was pullin out of my drive way this morning I noticed 2 big oil spots about 4-6 inches in diameter each where my truck was parked. This is the first sign of this I have seen. When I got home from work I crawled under it and there is oil all under the under carriage. My question is does something like this happen when the injectors are starting to go or does anyone have any clue as to what this may be? I checked the oil and level says full but does smell of diesel. Thanks for any clues and ideas!

dun! dun! dun! Injector time! the fuel is leaking into the oil and the excess oil/fuel is coming out the overfloe valve. But on the bright side you get to goto the dealership and get free work done:D

He says his oil level is full, not overfull.

Are you sure it is from the engine/trans area, and not from the Transfercase?
