As above OEM AC Delco #1 then

Baldwin (oil & diesel)

I do not recommend any FRAM products whatever.

Oil filters: I use Mobil-1 due to their synthetic fiber filter media & efficiency ratings
Fuel: Since they're only made by one company-Racor no matter whose name was on it I don't think it matters. That may have changed recently so you may want to check that out.

A lot of the members do a lot of maintenance items before they are needed. Piece of mind....

I am a maintenance freak too, I own an equipment rental company with over 90 diesel powered machines. but 3000 miles on good oil in our clean running duramaxes? Now i can understand air filters and fuel filters, quality of air and fuel is suspect in many areas. I run dual bypass oil-filter system and the pre-oem racor fuel filter system as sold by Greg Landuy. I have my oil tested and change filters at 10000 miles and both at 20000. My 04 lly was totaled with 160000 miles and have a 14000 lb trailer loaded 200 miles per day. Never a fuel or oil related problem.

I agree 100%-bad experiences with Fram. 2 filters I got that were Fram caused no oil pressure (2 gassers, 351-W Ford and 454 Chevy). Both of them I put new filter on and pressure was where it should be. The 454 only had 1500 miles since rebuilt too.
