Eric, I want to use the oil fill tube to install my by-pass filter return line. I notice that there are two bolts holding it in place. Can I remove the fill tube and not have any problem with it sealing back? Or is there an 0-ring or gasket on the bottom of the tube that I will need to replace? I have seen others use the cap to place the return line, but would like to silver solder a fitting on the tube for this.

If you know of a better place to take the return line, I'm for that as well. I know Oil Gaurd uses the drain in the oil pan. I can make a fitting to do that, but rather not.

Thanks the help.
