Are there any potential issues with the Nicktane setup when travelling off road. I spend a great deal of time on lease roads and logging roads in the oil patch. It would be a real let down to have the filter or lines torn off en-route eh?

EMSi - if you look at the following picture you should be able to see how far the bracket hangs down. it doesn't come down as far as the leaf spring, so if you do manage to get twisted up you should hit the leaf first. of course if you were to drop down from above onto a tall object you could hit just about anything under the truck, including the filter. However you'd crunch your rear fender before you hit the filter.

The lines are located at the very top of the fuel tank and run across the top of the frame.
