lost all indicators on the dash replaced the nsbu still did same thing. On the volt meter it read almost 17 volts could the alt fry the nsbu switch? Or could it fry the wires leadind to the nsbu and do any of you guys know where the wires lead to from the switch Thanks for any help Mike (2002 duramax stock) :(

You might try adjusting it back and forth a bit, if it's not lined up just right with Neutral it won't work at all. 17 volts could fry the NSBU, it should only be seeing about 13 or 14. Here's the pin out:

7-Pin NSBU----->TCM (red connector)
A-------------->J2-5
B-------------->J2-6
C-------------->J2-7
D-------------->J2-8
