So I have the 120 tune in my truck with the Transgo Jr. When I get on it from a stop the truck is an animal! It rips the tires apart once boost hits in first, it obilterates them again on the second shift. Finally by third it is moving at a good clip. The problem comes if I add any roll. From a roll the truck is almost a dog. If I put my foot down it seems like nothing happens. It really seems like the trans is just spinning. Could it be that I need to use the tow/haul button to lock the convertor? Can I look at trans slip live with the Predator like you can with the Edge?
Thanks,
ac

You can slip the trans, however I think that the predator has a little less get up in the mid to upper range that most other programmers, unless there is something wrong with the tune that you have installed. Have you talked to Predator about this yet? I know that most people that are running it rave about it and it is a good tuner. Also, have you tried to uninstall, update your tuner and then re-install?? Try that and see if that helps..

Mine is an LLY, but I can rip the tires loose easily at 30 mph if I get on it hard at just the 85 hp level on the Predator.

What is your boost showing when you accelerate hard from a roll?

How many miles on your fuel filter? I'd definitely suggest lift pump supply and a built transmission or it's going to catch up to you eventually...

I have found nailing my truck from a roll the rail drops harder than nailing if from a dead stop  You looked at your actual rail pressure?

John is also giving good info.

I probably should do a fuel filter. It is about 9300 miles old. I was planning on changing it at 10k, but a little sooner wont hurt. The Predator is fully updated. Boost shoots up to 24-25 psi pretty quick. Maybe I will tune it down to the 85hp for the heck of it. Hopefully the trans will adapt quickly to that.
Thanks,
Anthony
