If I am stopped with my foot on the brake, and then let off, there is a knock in the rear end; then, when I hit the gas it does it again. It's almost like there is slack is something like the driveshaft turns before the wheels do. Any help?

Try putting some grease on the drive shaft slip yoke. That is what cured mine.

My dad's 02 just started doing this and I got on here today to see if anyone else has the same problem. I jacked the rear up and got underneath and it looks like there's either a problem with the yoke, the front U-joint, or a mount somewhere in the rear of the trans. Basically I can wobble it side to side a little bit on the front end, but the back is tighter than a crab's ass.

Slide the drive shaft out of the transmission or transfer case, grease the spline shaft and re install. I marked the case and the shaft so I could put it back in the same position.
