Alright so here is the deal. I purhcased a VA smart box E with the big tune 150/200+/0. I babied it for a hundred mile or so when i hooked it up. I've been driving around with it for a while now and have noticed that when i get on it hard( i know I shouldn't with a stock trans) it will hit the rev limiter and refuses to shift. A few times, when in two wheel drive, I noticed that it was just my tires spinning, well i should say tire. Anyway the other night a guy rolled up in an LBZ with an edge. He was dumpin smoke so i decided to try to run with him. We hit a light and not wanting to spin my tires I slipped it into 4 Wheel. I didn't want to launch hard because i remembered that i had a stock tranny and no transfercase brace. I launched at 1800,if you could call it a launch. Well there wasn't much boost at that rpm so it lagged, then shfited to 2nd, took off, and then it hit the rev limiter and wouldn't shift. I doubt that i was spinning my tires even though it was 24 degrees F out. It will shift if i let off but thats it. The only codes that my truck has thrown since i've had it is a change engine oil something or other, tech forgot to reset it, and a U1000 which some electrical code that occasionally pops up bu tno one can fix. Sorry for the long post. Any ideas? Is it slipping bad without throwing a code?

Screw it! I'm looking into getting a new trans here if it all works out.

Mods please take this thread down.

Mine goes to rev limiter and does not shift some times to when my juice is turned up in higher levels. I would like to know what causes this also.

Yeah me too but it doesn't seem that anyone knows. I think that the trans just refuses to shift because it knows that if it does it will slip big time or it is already slipping a lot and just not throwing a code for some reason. But I wish some one else woudl chime in.
