no more NP263

LMM now uses a Magna Powertrain xfer case "MP1226". Looks identical to an NP263, I would assume its quite similar because Magna Powertrain bought New process/new venture....anyone know if there are any differences???

nvmind I found it must be slightly different...

it has a 2.68:1 low range (np261/263 has 2.72)

hopefully it wont have any pump rubbing problems......

maybe that ones made out of plastic instead of magnesium....probably stronger
