The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that the passenger door courtesy light remains on after all other interior lights have gone off. Root cause is the PDM missed the class 2 message to turn off courtesy lamp.
Recommendation/Instructions:
To correct this concern reprogram the DDM (Drivers Door Module) with an updated service calibration. This new service calibration was released with TIS satellite data update version 1.5 available January 23, 2006. As always, make sure your Tech 2® is updated with the latest software version.
